Before masking the piece to be worked, make sure that it is clean and dry.
To start, remove cap and hold pen in writing position, press tip lightly on a scrap of paper and release immediately.
The tip of the pen should now be charged with Stop-Off liquid.
Apply Stop-Off to the area that you want to remain unplated.
Be sure that the entire area is coated with the liquid.
Immediately replace cap onto pen. If tip should become dry, remove it from the pen and soak in acetone.
Wait at least 10 minutes before plating the article.
After plating, remove the Stop-Off using acetone, methylene chloride, paint thinner , or nail polish remover.
