New design furnace with controller on the side of unit.
Satellite manual units use the same basic manual step-less type of control.
The operator must manually adjust the control knob, in order to dial in the desired operating temperature, which will be displayed on the analog pyrometer.
The operator must also continually monitor the unit, as the unit will tend to drift during a soak period above the set operating temperature and adjustments will need to be made to zero in the desired operating temperature.
The unit should never be left unattended during operation.
J-100A have the following added features:
The electrical components and pyrometer have been moved from under the kiln to the side of the unit. This extends the life of the components by moveing them away from the heat. Access to the components and pyrometer is easier.
The door latch and handle are away from the heat of the door and cabinet keeping them cooler.
